The 73rd JSAP Spring Meeting 2026
We participated in “The 73rd JSAP Spring Meeting 2026” held at Institute of Science Tokyo – Ookayama Campus, from March 15 to March 18, 2026.The following two oral presentations were presented from our laboratory:
- 16p-M_135-5 “Analysis of Ultrasonic Scattering Accompanied by Microscopic Acoustophoresis of Nano- and Micron-Sized Particles and Its Application to Density Measurement” / Mao Yamada, Tomohisa Norisuye
- 16p-M_135-6 “Dynamic Ultrasound Scattering Analysis of Highly Concentrated Microparticle Suspensions with Consideration of Polydispersity” / Mayuko Hirano, Tomohisa Norisuye.
Mr. Yamada and Ms. Hirano delivered excellent presentations, marking this as their final conference as students. The Q&A sessions and discussions during the oral presentations were also very interactive, and I learned a lot from them.

Well, here are the comments from Yamada and Hirano.
Mao Yamada “I am deeply grateful to Prof. Norisuye, for giving me many opportunities to attend various conferences over the six years. At first, I was extremely nervous during presentations and Q&A sessions and couldn’t speak very well, but thanks to your advice and repeated experience, I was able to grow significantly. Each time I attended a conference, I gained new insights, which motivated me to participate in the next one. I have been especially conscious of speaking about my research with passion and enjoyment. Although I wouldn’t say my presentation and responses this time were perfect, being able to speak with enthusiasm is a point of growth for me. Once again, thank you very much for your guidance and support over the past six years in the laboratory.”
Mayuko Hirano “This final conference presentation as a student was, I believe, my best one yet. Through the Q&A session, I was able to clearly recognize areas for my own growth, making it a truly valuable experience. As this was my first time attending the JSAP Spring Meeting, I had the opportunity to explore a wide range of sessions across different fields. It was both inspiring and educational, and it reminded me once again how fascinating research can be.I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Professor Norisuye for giving me the opportunity to participate, even so close to graduation.”
