Cherry Blossom Viewing 2026
Since we welcomed a newcomer to the lab, we finally made it to Kitanoji for cherry blossom viewing, though a bit late in the season. The cherry blossoms bloomed early this year, but there were still a few left.
For lunch, we bought bento boxes and held a welcome party combined with a lunch gathering.
Thank you very much to the M1 students who organized the event and everyone who helped with the preparations.
By the way, it’s quite lonely now that Hirano-san, Yamada-kun, Shiroi-kun, and Tsukiashi-kun, who graduated in March, are no longer here, but we’ll keep working hard together step by step. There were some kites flying overhead, but we ate our boxed lunches without making a big deal about it.
To the new fourth-year members who have joined us—Asada-kun, Ishida-kun, and Yoshihara-kun—we look forward to working with you from now on!
